A proper athlete, but with a good rugby brain on him too. Played centre for Epsom, but more likely to move out to the wing I suspect.
That's a good highlights reel and interesting to see he had a section in there of winning turnovers. Am I right in seeing him playing 7 in some of those school games?
The chasing back to tackle the 15 who everyone thought was gone was most impressive. Lots of people have pace and strength, but that kind of will and desire is much rarer.

Yes mate. Second half of their season is 7s.
And the fullback he caught, if I'm thinking of the right clip is Hector Elrington (who said English rugby is posh?) who is not a bad player at all. Albeit he hasn't had any wider recognition.

Ah, shame - I thought they were doing a Barbeary and giving him experience at flank to round him out rather than just letting him dominate in his main position.
These kids may be great, have limitless potential etc.. but highlights videos for schoolboys and junior players are a bit pointless and might just contribute to kids believing their own hype. We're never going to see any of the bad bits -just as we don't for highlights of players even at the international level. Good luck to these lads but why not just let them quietly serve their time and make a real mark on the game before everyone starts raving. Wish I had a video of the half dozen really good tries I scored in my entire playing career of about 25 years. Cherry-picked like that, I'd look like a bleedin rugby genius, never mind all the missed tackles, knock-ons, lost foot races, idiot decisions, all round sloppy play etc...

I've heard quite a few people express this opinion. It's just unrealistic. Everyone films themselves doing everything. Trying to prevent highly rated young athletes getting attention will never work.
