Wales top of the table, without a win against another 15 yet.

And without any discernible attack, showing perhaps Eddie is right, attack is for losers

I dunno. I thought they scored some well executed tries today.

Some isolated examples, especially against 14 isn't the bar I'd be looking to clear. Not that England are typically any better to watch

No change to this table after Ire / Fra
First Fra win in Dublin for 10 yrs., built on new determination and discipline, and impressive defence.Good scrap by Ire but unable to make the most of the few opportunities presented.
Dupont still first name on Earth XV vs. Mars

Does anyone know what rules the 6N is using for games affected by covid? I can't find anything.

I seem to recall they game themselves the flexibility to make them up as they went along, which in the circumstances isn't unreasonable

Yes, Fra can bide their time in this competition it seems:
https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/rug ... d-19889093

'In the Autumn Nations Cup, the teams which were unable to raise a side or play safely due to Covid reasons automatically lost 28-0, with five points going to the other side...
...However, different plans are in place for such a scenario this time, as was revealed by Ben Morel, the head of the Six Nations, in January before the tournament began.
"The primary focus would be to reschedule," said Morel
"The reason why we went for immediate results during the Nations Cup was that it had to progress because there was a finals weekend."
"We would obviously want to protect the sporting integrity of the Six Nations as much as possible. We are confident in our ability to stage the matches at the right time, it's more what logistical gymnastics we need to adapt to." '

I assume the clubs will not try to be difficult given they can see raising money is problematic. But that is the attitude of the international game that properly pisses off many in the club game, that they can just take players as and when they're ready

In terms of France Vs Scotland it should be relatively straightforward, reschedule to the next rest week. Were it to happen later in the tournament in not sure the French teams would be keen replacing star names outside of the international window and any Scottish players at English clubs would be unlikely to get released.

As Digby says the clubs weren't best pleased by the resumption of the 6N straight into the ANC. Meaning no pre season and then England internationals barely featuring for their clubs. I'm not sure slack would be given again. The French Union had to go and beg their clubs for players and do deals. Could very easily get messy.

The clubs are annoyed, and have been very annoyed by this behaviour in the past. But they have very little wriggle room when their revenue streams have been shredded and they're more reliant than ever on central handouts, right now in this 6N at a guess they'd grumble and add it to the list of things to be pissed about in the future when they've the wriggle room to actually care, but in the here and now release the players like the good little girls and boys they are

Only Wal for the GS now - their toughest test to come.
Fra still look favourites for the title. but Wal could lose next week and still be champs, once the Fra/Sco fixture is completed.

Sco now out of the running as Ire take control, and the Quaich.
