No idea. I always look out for him in the matchday 23, but i dont think he's featured at all this season and rarely last. Bit disappointing he's had such limited opportunities.

Nice to see JVP starting for Tigers.

Shame Hodge isn't starting so we could have Steward Vs Hodge.

Some good youngsters getting game time for Tigers with Heyes, Henderson, JVP, Steward and Whitcombe all 21 or under.

Hopefully Tigers can keep this close and come away with an LBP.

Hinkley has played 2 games for Exeter so far, started 1 game against London Irish (Exeter lost) in which for whatever bright reason Baxter started him at 8 and he injured his kneee at 60 minutes. He had an excellent game though.

Will be watching JVP like a hawk, praying he will soon be England's answer at 9.

He might well be the answer but you have to remember he's 19. Going to be a couple of years before he's taking that shirt for his own. He's going to need some development and experience. There's a couple of obvious areas and the length of time it takes for him to make a box kick is the obvious one, he's been targeted for the charge down before now. I really like how Borthwick is rotating his squad so the young guys like JVP are getting plenty of minutes.

Moronic red card from van Wyk. Ref is shocking, just yellow carded a player on his side of the breakdown and on his own try line for not rolling away. The TMO somehow missed the clear out direct to the head of Lavanini during Exeter's first try.

Van Wyk's deserved red card (same as Thorley's) will mean this will be a cricket score for Exeter.

Brilliant from Tigers to claw their way back into the game and get a TBP. Playing most the game with 14 and still giving Chiefs a scare after getting back to within 9 points is damn impressive. The lads (bar van Wyk) should be proud of themselves.

As for van Wyk I think Potter came on showed exactly what we wanted from the quick winger. Hopefully he comes in for van Wyk next week and if he plays like that again van Wyk might struggle to get back in.

The young Tiger Cubs acquitted themselves well and the senior squad guys led by example. Still plenty to work on but this is miles better than we've seen in recent years.

Good effort by Tigers to get a try BP. They came back well into the game just before half time and stuck at it to score some well constructed tries. JVP had a tidy game, taking his try nicely. Steward was very solid. Heyes coped with Moon really well in the scrums.
The red card was properly given. It was a brainless challenge.
Exe looked very good at times. Maunder was efficient, Devoto was excellent and Simmonds x2 were typically effective.
