I think DVDM was too focused on smashing him into touch rather than just concentrating on getting him down.

Stupid penalties but I think Hogg's was very harsh from my one viewing. He looked to be counter rucking legitimately (even if you are being careful you have to slow the ball down) and then be pulled down by the French player. Surely give him some leeway to get out the way then - we won't defenders to compete on their feet after all.

A half of two halves. Some really encouraging stuff when we had the ball, but 3 points down given the pressure they’ve applied seems okay.

Really need to ride out this yellow without any fuckups. I feel like we were on the cusp of putting their heads down at about 20 minutes but just didn’t keep the pressure up.

VDM definitely caught out for the try but a try (and probably a yellow) was definitely coming.

Price. Fucking hell. Just keep the fucking ball.

Just dink it straight to Dulin in the 22 for what reason?

It was so much easier to blame Them. It was bleakly depressing to think They were Us. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

It is unlucky but then again he's injured himself diving off his feet over a ruck

I don't rate his brain power but that was just poor execution tbh. All the forwards were tied in so the kick was right, just poorly done.

Disagree, a box kick into the oppo 22 is rarely a good idea, and it certainly wasn't right then

Looked like he was expecting the French player to engage then he didn't. Looks more braindead than it is I think.

That's my point, he wouldn't have meant that to reach the 22.

My recollection was that he's too close to the 22 for it to be anything other than a wasted kick.

Either way, hopefully we're getting some momentum back now.

That was brilliant Price in defence to stop Ollivon.

Just giving away too many pens.

Aaaaand couple of daft penalties coughs up a score for them.

It really is just a case of anyone playing against us just has to wait for us to self destruct
