Yeah, his work rate and ability to shuffle attackers attack around when outnumbered is very impressive. A dodgy moment or two but some massive hits too.

Wouldn't be surprised to see him get a call from Gatland. Doesn't make sense to move him to wing when Jones comes on as he marshalls that part of the field generally well.

I think they were just looking for more running ability at that stage. Harris fully justified his starting spot today (especially given the weather) but I'd love to pick the best bits from him and Jones.

Gilchrist looked quite useful.

A fair few here thought him to be useless.

Just got him at 12/1 to tour. Can regret that later.

Can't find Hogg for captain odds.

I think Ritchie probably did deserve it. Got everywhere.

Harris was good in defence but would want something in attack to be considered for MOTM.

Cherry was good but that messed up lineout was terrible. Price would be crucified for a similar mistake at a key moment.

Well done Scotland. The whole team stepped up to beat a very powerful French XV in Paris. Hogg is some player and leader. Finn Russell showed that he is more than just a fancy Dan attacking 10 with some strong defensive work. Watson's engine is unbelievable, Fagerson not far behind.

You should be proud of your team, an amazing performance! If you’d have got your act together at Murrayfield, you may well have been celebrating a Slam!

Ritchie deserved motm for me, altho it could've gone to a number of players.

Harris is amazing in defence but offers very little in attack, unsurprisingly I don't know how anyone could give more than he gives, he just gives it all in defence.

Haining really stepped up, put in a massive performance.

All our 2nd rows were great too.

Still too many individual errors but they're starting to play as a team that better than the sum of its parts.

It was so much easier to blame Them. It was bleakly depressing to think They were Us. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

he was like he could be when he broke into the Edinburgh side. Like now Edinburgh had lost all/most of their senior locks to injury or something. Gilco came in and was great in every aspect. And of course was over played. Then the injuries etc. Did well last week, this week - performances like that make him a genuine competition for lock, rather than the default when the main guys are injured

there were no poor performances
Graham was quiet, nature of the game
VDM got one try maybe wrongly and took his 2nd well, as we would expect. Otherwise did ok bar missing a tackle he should
have made for 1st french try
Otherwise hard to pick out individuals, pack all awesome, Gilchrist and Haining the unsung heroes, plus Fagerson coming back on so soon and carrying like a rhino on speed

Congratulations Scotland, a fantastic team performance to beat a very good French side.

My personal view is that Hamish Watson is one of the top players of the tournement. I was impressed yesterday by Dave Cherry (apart from that one lineout where the call went wrong). He was very calm in tight attacking positions, you could see he was looking around weighing up options intelligently.

There is little between Wales, Scotland, France and Ireland this season.

Despite being Welsh I played ten seasons for London Scottish and experienced the almost annual expectation of a new dawn for your national side, I think this time it is real.
