Was kinda hoping Carl Fearns was going to get his debut.
Strong enough side for Glos - as ever this season, I am sure they will contrive to lose by a small margin and take 'spirit' and 'commitment' as the positives from the game.

Good to see Clement starting. Evans back at 10 should add a touch more control. Be surprised if Newcastle take more than a losing BP.

Clement has shown up very well, as have most of the young guns who wouldn't have got a look in had relegation been scrapped. We dearly miss Polledri for his carrying, Ackerman is a great workhorse but it's predictable. As ever I am hopeful.....

A veritable game of the proverbial two halves. Glos proper shitehawk for the first 40, three tries to one down within 20 mins. Second half, whatever rollocking was handed out at the interval, was a successful 180 deg turnaround. Vision, flowing rugby and good deployment of tactic. lets hope for more of this.

I thought Ben Morgan was on his way back from injury? What’s the deal there?

Re: Glos V Newcastle
he's had a couple of 30 min cameo's but not the force he once was sadly. He is returning from injury still so maybe i'm a little premature in that assessment.
