Exeter were excellent up front.

POC still looks an option for Eddie.

Sam Simmonds had an excellent game in front of Warren Gatland too. He was sharp in attack and had some very good moments in defence.

Why is nobody on here ever making dreadful puns about the blokes name? I thought this was one for a moment. Just too obvious?
Ah, sorry to disappoint. Uren ate all over his chances with Jones, you mean?
We should start a fan group to demand his inclusion. We could call ourselves the Uren Nation

He did have a good game. I wish bt would shut up though. I like both flats and ugo but I wish they would change their style slightly (it's not just them but bt comentry in general). They seem to always have some pre determined thing to gush over.

:D very good.

On a serious note if consider him in the running for the summer tour if we are going to look beyond the current options of old man Benny and not good enough Robson. Uren showed off some nice acceleration to streak in for that try. Was tidy in all the basics.

I always assumed Uren was older than he is.

I must have been thinking he was worth a look because I looked him up at some point during the match kind of assuming that he wasn't EQP. Maybe a kiwi or aussie who hadn't had a chance over there or something. Very good game I thought, his finish was outstanding.

Of course, it really doesn't help his case that he's not first choice for his club

'Is not' or 'was not'? Has Randall started ahead of him recently? It's a great choice to have, mind. I see Uren as more solid and dependable with Randall a smidge sharper and more unpredictable.

Bristol's full set of backs is so good that I'm not sure what constitutes the first choice line-up. That makes it very difficult to be definite about which SH suits the team best. Does Malins get into the 1st choice XV, for example?

Also enjoyed Jonny Hills left footed touch finder- Kruis needs to take note.

Randall has been first choice. Uren has done really well covering while Randall has been away/injured. His all round play is consistently good.

Exe really impressive i thought. Pretty much dominated throughout.
O'Conor good in a well beaten side.
Yep, thought he was a lot more effective than Slade, despite the obvious dominence of Exeter.

Are they both better at 13? I'd like to see them together for England. I'd see O'Conor as the better 12 but, who knows, it could just be one of those fluid centre partnerships where they react to circumstances in attack and defence. Perhaps a quick-thinking, versatile partner could get a lot more out of Slade.

Looks very comfy in either slot, which is a talent in its own right- he runs straight, which is underrated as a skill :). I'd like him at 12- given where we are with 12's :)- and someone else at 13, a proper runner tbh.

Shoot me down but I reckon Malins could have his highest ceiling at 12 as well
