Forum downtime
I've had a few people ask about this, so thought it easier to answer all in one go. The issue yesterday was the server falling over. Hammy has resurrected it and is looking at options to stop it from happening again.
On a related note, I have suggested to Hammy that, if he were to set up a Patreon or similar, there would be people willing to chip in to help towards the upkeep of the site. Would I be correct in that? I know I'd be willing to put in a few quid a month for the entertainment/procrastination that this place gives me.

Yup, I'm more than happy to pay a pint a month (Yorkshire prices, not Southern prices of course) for the entertainment I get.Puja wrote:I've had a few people ask about this, so thought it easier to answer all in one go. Will need know which part of Yorkshire as, dependent on this, your contribution could vary from 80p to £8.Shiny wrote:

What sort of data demand is there for the site? I might know someone that could host it.

Not a posh part like Harrogate. Working class area in Bradford but born and grew up in Northampton so that may skew the figures a bit.Mellsblue wrote:Will need know which part of Yorkshire as, dependent on this, your contribution could vary from 80p to £8.Shiny wrote:
