He’s not as big as Hill, but he’s a better rugby player and a better athlete IMO.

If he wants to play test rugby, I really think it needs to be at lock though. I just can’t see him ever being a first choice as a 6, whereas he definitely could be at lock.
definitely could be? That opportunity is not summer tests though, really- it 'proves' nada to be honest. I think he's likely a journeyman international, having watched quite a lot of saints- just my opinion. I do agree that its lock or nothing for England though tbh, but then I think that about Itoje and Lawes to some extent.

We’ll see. He’s still very young.

Slightly off topic, but our conveyor belt of quality in the second row seems to have slowed a bit. Martin, Coles and Kpoku are all showing promise, but like Isiekwe are swapping between 6 and lock which makes it harder to gauge where they are best deployed.

Tizard and Hammond are highly rated at Quins but neither are anywhere close to being ready for any more than Premiership rugby at this point. Tizard is more physically ready which is why he’s picked up a bit more game time so far, but Hammond looked the more promising at age grade. If we can get him to bulk up in the same way we have with Lamb, he could be good in time.
