Only one winner here. Hopeful of a TBP but that's about it.

Not really sure how Glaws haven't conceded 40 points this half but kudos to them they are.
What was Piatau doing?!?

Quite a ridiculous half of rugby. We won’t be able to hold out for another 40, but I did lmfao at Piutau

Is POC being rested again, or is he injured?

POC and Dan Thomas are rested for this, but there's a Bris - Glaws friendly tomorrow for the those that aren't playing tonight.Peej wrote:Is POC being rested again, or is he injured?

Bristol just seem to be over complicating it slightly

What are people's thoughts on Mark Atkinson? Haven't seen him a huge amount but thought he played well today, considering, and had some good performances early in the season. Just thinking of England's significant lack of depth in the inside centre position, does anyone think there may be something there?

Too old for me unfortunately. 31 is just too late to come into internationals for me. That and I don't think he's exceptional, just very solid.Magic_sponge wrote:What are people's thoughts on Mark Atkinson? Ah, yes, that's fair, didn't realise he was that old. And agree he's probably more on the 'solid' side, but given lack of options and the nature of the role it could work, but agree no point going down that route now anyway.Raggs wrote:Too old for me unfortunately. 31 is just too late to come into internationals for me. Exactly what i thought at times. Trying for the ambitious eye catching moment when a simple offload/pass would have been a better option.Peej wrote:Bristol just seem to be over complicating it slightly
Still, they are a mighty attractive side, playing a great style of rugby.
Glos never really in it after the red card, though you have to commend them for staying in the game for a s long as they did.

They do, a bit. But as a neutral, I'd rather everyone in the league played a similar style of rugby i.e. attractive and ambitiousPeej wrote:Bristol just seem to be over complicating it slightly
I feel that over time the core attacking skills and decision making of our players, and by extension, the national side, would improve.
If everyone just went for territory and pick and gos (i.e. Exeter), then the national side would surely suffer from the same lack of imagination

How much do you think 'no relegation' will affect playing style?TheNomad wrote:They do, a bit. But as a neutral, I'd rather everyone in the league played a similar style of rugby i.e. attractive and ambitiousPeej wrote:Bristol just seem to be over complicating it slightly

Watched this on C5 highlights last night, looked an absolute hoot. Piutau was comedy gold. The C5 chaps said it was a bonkers game, gonna have to watch the whole thing on BT when I get a chance at the wkd. Better than the Wasps v Quins game?
