Dave Ewers? Really? I mean, he's good, but I don't know he'd be on my list of the top 6 players this season. Same for Luatua.

No Sale players. No Danny Care. No Zach Mercer. I'd've thought David Ribbans or Andy Uren would be close to the list as well.

Weird choices.

Not sure about 'weird' they've all had prominent seasons and you have to shorten the list at some point. I don't think Smith, Simmonds or POC are at all weird, albeit a nudge to Eddie; Luatua has been an outstanding skipper, and Ewers has had a vital job given Exeters issues in the back 5 and letting Sam go awandering. It may be all you mention are 'close to the list' but who knows. I can see why those who made the list, made the list.

Yeah my first instinct was that it was a bit of an odd list, but then the only other name i'd may e add would be MacGinty. But even then he'd just be making up the numbers behind Simmonds and Smith

It's always going to be a slightly odd list because home nation internationals didn't really play for the first what four or five months of the season. Season started November and then they were available 1 or 2 games before the end of the 6N if I remember rightly.

Evans at Quins I'd have had in there as his turnover numbers were outstanding.

It's all making up the numbers for Sam Simmonds though surely?
