Game is off. More Covid cases in the Scotland squad.

I think young Finn Smith might push past Umaga in the next couple of years, maybe Atkinson as well. Simmonds is a good all rounder not sure if he'll get a shot at international level under Jones though.

Bloody hell fire. I was looking forward to this! Do they not have vaccines north of the border?

Nostrapuja predicts that one of our dual qualified players now won't get picked for the two tests and will get poached by the Celts in the Autumn.

Knowing our luck Kelly and Heyes will be offered lucrative contracts in Ireland and Wales and we'll be done out of another young talent due to selection criteria from the Celts.

Disappointing all round. We miss out on a game but for some that may be the only chance they have of representative senior rugby for England.

That the game is off explains why I can't find it

You do definitely feel for the likes of Wells and Ludlow (although Eddie obviously sees something he likes in the latter). Don't know they'll get another turn.

I'm wondering if Eddie will just say the same boys get to play next week.

Was just trying to name a side for next week and most of the same names were coming up. I checked Wells earlier in the thread as someone who might miss out, but there aren't really any locks to come from Quins or Exeter, so he'll probably get actual caps.
