And it appears that we are continuing on the same bullshit format that we had last season which everyone thought was just for during the pandemic. You know the one, the simple, easy to follow one where there are two pools of 12 and some teams play some other teams based on tiers unless they're in the same league and then they play someone else instead and then everybody plays some number of matches and the top eight from each pool goes through to the next round, and I don't even pretend to understand how it works.

What was so wrong with the simple 6 pools of 4, play home and away, thing that we used to have? I can't even work out if this nonsense results in fewer games, but even if it does, I hate it.
