Again, surprised Augustus isn't starting but generally very happy with that Saints side. Very good to have both Sleights and Freeman back in the mix, and good to see Litchfield getting invovled. Think Exeter might perform well after their lacklustre performance last week, should be a good game.

Back five of Chiefs scrum looked iffy last week and haven't had reinforcement for this week. Some others have come into the overall squad though which might help. Saints really should be looking to turn the screw up front.

Freeman on the bench too.
Saints could get something out of this one. Exe will be better than last week but that pack is unlikely to dominate and Saints have the backs that can make things happen.

Speaking of Freeman, it will be interesting to see if Furbank can back up last week’s performance. Having those two battle for the 15 shirt will be great for Northampton and England.

Aye, Freeman's emergence last season with Furbank's lengthy dip in form made me 100% sure that Freeman should be our nailed on 15. However, Furbank was fantastic last week and hopefully back to his best. Like you say, if both of these guys are playing well it's great news.Mellsblue wrote:Speaking of Freeman, it will be interesting to see if Furbank can back up last week’s performance. Yep, been trying to find a stream but failing. Seems madness that in the USA they can watch every single match on NBC, but here in the UK we get 3 a weekend. Even more annoying when you factor in BT Sport's distribution of clubs being televised - Saracens having 80% of their games shown and Warriors 10% in the first 10 rounds.

Sounds like a tense end to the game, great result for Saints.
