Fearful mismatch at 13 in terms of pace. Lots of Glos old boys in that Wuss side, wonder how many feel they have a point to prove. Hastings first start at 10. Excited to see how that goes

Wuss have started pretty well. They look settled and will have found a bit of confidence after the first 2 rounds. Glos struggling a bit but try scoring doesnt seem to be an issue.
This is a low key game that might be one of the better ones this weekend.

Worcester should really beat Gloucester well imo.
Especially with Gloucester missing Balmain, Worcesters scrum been their clear weak point so far, Elrington did well last week I thought but Balmain is a big chunk of experience to have gone along with Slater.
Honestly don't get why Gloucester didn't keep hold of Garvey

Good Glos win in dire conditions, Hastings shone at 10, great game. A few nice tries too, which considering how wet it was was a bonus. Hopefully that’s the monkey off their backs.

Only saw the highlights, but Hastings looked very classy.

Ted Hill copped a red for a tip but copped a foot in the throat directly before his challenge. Think the disciplinary panel are going to have to go through the tape frame by frame on that one.

Re: Worcester V Glos Sat 3pm
I suspect the Glaws player will use the Barrett defence. The ref reviewed at the time and deemed it was due to leaning back presumably based in the recent Barrett decision. Ted Hill has no chance of getting off though there was a definite option for him not to tip but the red mist had come down and he knowingly dumped the guy. The hands went up after because he knew he'd made a mistake but he'll sit out a week or two. Handily missing the Tigers game.fivepointer wrote:Ted Hill copped a red for a tip but copped a foot in the throat directly before his challenge. Thought at the time they could both see red. The Barret outcome will be the incorrect precedent set I think.

Yeah … bit of a difficult one. As FKAS said, he didn’t have to follow through with the tip, but that shouldn’t exonerate Evans for kicking out as he did.
Hill has very little (if any?) previous, so I’m not expecting a particularly lengthy ban.

Yeah I agree with Barrett precedent being a poor one but now it's in place I expect many clubs to cite it in incidents such as these.Gloskarlos wrote:Thought at the time they could both see red. The Barret outcome will be the incorrect precedent set I think.
