Jesus, Smith is getting nothing. Fears proving true. Young’s and Farrell killing him.

A clinical team would be out of sight now and Australia would have 0.

That was a mess. Some good stuff. But Farrell is playing 10 with Smith at 12. And Farrell keeps on either kicking or giving mediocre passes. Why have Smith in your team, not actually play him 10, and not give him a reasonable centre pairing?

So...we do some good stuff, but it's all pretty much undone by the fact Youngs and Farrell are useless. Without them, we'd probably be two tries to the good, and have conceded at least one fewer penalty, maybe two.

Take out Hill, and we'd probably be winning comfortably.

Most likely, that'll mean Smith comes off at half time so the messiah can go 'back' to FH...

I see what they’re trying to do - Farrell off first phase and Smith once the d is less structured - but I’m not sure it’s working.

From the yellow card onwards very much looked like England expected it to happen rather than having to make it.

Could do with cutting out the players switching positions and actually playing properly for 20 minutes.

If Jones is going to insist on playing a flanker at no.8 pick the one who’s got power and penetration in the carry i.e. Underhill not Curry

Don't worry about Farrell. I'm pretty sure now that he has 100 caps, someone, somewhere has won a massive bet and that'll that.

Bit harsh, Aus giving him no time to play and he needs to adjust.

Malins for Farrell and re-align. It is so fundamentally obvious in terms of balance and effectiveness.

But if you can rush up because Farrell is no threat ball in hand then its easier to give Smith no time.

By my reckoning, he’s had the ball at first receiver 3 times. That’s extremely unfair on your 10.

On top of everything else we look like a side who has had one blow out win against poor opposition.

Pretty tired of that whistle.

Not sure where the commentary are getting this idea that we're all watching 'an amazing test match'
