All complaints were reviewed and none met the threshold for a ban. Since you are aiming your remarks at me Cas, you should be aware that no mod felt your complaint was worthy of a ban.

If anyone has a complaint against another poster then make it via the complaint function. Do not accuse another payer of racism in this forum and start a campaign to get them removed.

More likely someone was offended by the offensive language used by Cas. If you want to get real change, use language that engages people, talk nicely, explain your point of view, and don't label everyone racist for admitting they are being racist and that doesn't look good on them...

The red line is there because these can often turn into public hounding. If you feel someone has broken board rules then complain and it will be discussed by the moderators. I'm not on board with virtual vigilante justice where someone is hounded (other words can be bullied or harassed) because someone has a bee in their bonnet. Its not pleasant.

If a remark is racist then then offending poster will be banned. If the moderators feel that the remark isnt racist then they will deal with it in other ways.

If we're talking about due process, then I think it would benefit the process a lot if when you delete someone's post (e.g. mine in this thread) you at least inform them what it was that they said that you deemed to be crossing a line. Rather than just vanishing posts like a dictator vanishes people he doesn't like.

Mate, this has just as much to do with your inadequacies as a moderator, and your ongoing refusal to take any meaningful action.

And what qualifies as racist post, then? Apparently "expressing pleasure at a racially motivated mass murder," "expressing outrage at a white supremacist organisation with historic and ongoing links to the Klan being inconvenienced," and "cheerleading for a person just convicted of participating in the lynching of a black man" doesn't qualify, so what does? What is the threshold?
