I'm not saying the guy has a bit of an ego/chip on the shoulder but his pinned Tweet is "Let's face it when it comes to breaking rugby transfers I walk this earth like a god!".
He's also put a disclaimer saying all views are his own and not his employers which is a sure sign he's about to be a tool on controversial matters.

Take the word woke out of the conversation and I suspect that many people would see absolutely nothing wrong with Exeter rebranding if their current iteration offends a particular group of people. The moment that word enters the conversation through pricks like Neil who'd rather not be forced to consider history however it gets people frothing at the mouth like rabid ghouls who've just ingested too much cocaine. The mainstream right in both politics and the media have much to answer for.

The point has been reached where voluntary re-branding done with dignity is essential. Getting dragged into it, kicking and screaming, benefits nobody, no matter what the counter-arguments may be.

He will generate a revenue stream from faux anti-woke outrage. Dinosaurs like him are just fucking tedious.
