£5 a match, £7 for the weekend. Not sure about the price point, but I can see it being a success, at the very least, successful enough to continue.

£7 is about the same as Amazon Prime for a month isn't it?

It is. 4 times the price of Amazon, with just rugby instead of free delivery and a load of media. Definitely think that's overpriced.

Trouble for PRL is is, if they price it too low - they'll lose ticket sales.

Would be good if they could include an annual pass into the price of a season ticket.

I think the Yanks get all the Prem matches + URC + T14 + Super, for about £5 a month - so I think I'll keep my Australian laptop for now - but probably support the pilot for the first 2-3 times Bath are on there.

I'm guessing that this will signal the end for the free full-match replays that come up on the website the day after. Shame.

If the free full match replays are dropped (or only available behind a paywall), that might do it. Perhaps you'll need the season pass to access them all?

It’s overpriced but it’s a niche product and they have to comprise with the TV rights.
If it’s a success it gives Prem rugby more bargaining power.

the NFL gamepass route is prob the best route in trying to attract new followers of club rugby.

If rugby gets bundled with whoever gets the premier league tv rights they won’t generally push rugby as well as they could.

Free view tv + gamepass is imo the most sensible route

They say there'll be a season pass next season. A decently priced season pass will absolutely entice me in, especially if the free replays go behind the firewall.

I imagine I’ll still be out of region, though…

That would be a massive shame. But at least the dodgy streams will have all the games live.

That one has been a bit iffy of late. no access due to restricted content messages are more commonplace than before, not sure it will last long as a site.

If you get that message, go to Settings and tick Desktop Site. Should play OK on a phone or tablet then

This is the link I use

https://vk.com/video/@rugbyonsofa

If it comes up as blocked, I have found that by changing the settings to the Desktop site works fine.
In Chrome, click on the 3 dots in the top right, scroll down to 'Desktop Site' and tick the check box and refresh. Site then comes up.
Not sure about other browsers but I guess IE, Safari, Firefox etc have a similar option in their browser settings
Good luck!
