We've been missing a real #8 all season (no disrespect to Josh Bayliss) - but I think we might possibly be overcompensating now.
That's a very raw bench - we'd better be 20 up by the time they come on.
We won't be.

I'm hoping we put in a solid shift till 50 minutes, then bring on most the bench and just power through.

First half felt like we simply winning the cripple fight as neither team was doing anything particularly effective. Wasps had it in the tight exchanges, so kept throwing it wide; we looked good out wide, and incompetent in tight play - so we tried to go wide as well - which was better, at least.
Second half, and a man down, I really expected Wasps advantage in the tight 5 to tell - but they kept playing to our strengths, and we tightened up and looked in control, even if we couldn't quite make it tell whilst a man down.
Then TdG goes for the intercept - if that sticks then we're 14 points up with 10 to play and a TBP in the bag. But if you go for it, you HAVE to make it stick - and he didn't.
Wasps suddenly had room out wide as well as dominance close in - and there was only ever going to be 1 result from that.
Both cards were harsh-but-fair for me. Last year, Roko's was a yellow, Tom's seemed a genuine attempt, fumbled.
But them's the breaks, and that 10 minutes cost us hugely.
We went down fighting - which is a significant step up from earlier in the season.
Biggest disappointment for me was Du Toit's throwing - 2 significantly overthrown, and 1 not even close to straight, so we had to throw to the front from then on, and sacrifice our ability to play to our strengths.
