Surely there must have been a case referred to them? Texas seems to be trying to roll back north on rights but I don’t think they are the only state to be doing that. One report I read today mentioned up to 26 states that are looking to impose some sort of restriction.
There is a case referred to them that they're currently considering which is the challenge to Roe vs Wade. There's no shortage of Republican fuckwits willing to spend their time and money to make sure that others are deprived of rights, so the cases challenging them will keep coming.
The thing is that a majority of Americans are in favour of Roe vs Wade. It's because of their shitty electoral system that gives equal weight in the Senate to underpopulated red states like 580k Wyoming as it does to 39 million in blue California. What I'm terrified to see is if the same will occur with this as occurred with Brexit - instead of people moving away from the Republicans because they did the thing they disliked, deciding that they never cared about the thing anyway and lurching further right, because in for a penny, my team good or bad, right?
