Armitage

Post by Spiffy »

Just noticed that Steffon Armitage is playing at No.8 for Biarritz v. Wasps in the Challenge Cup this weekend. Thought he had long retired . A 5'9", 17 st back row forward still going strong at 36. Good on him. Might have had a stellar international career if things had worked out just a little differently in his early career.

Could expand it to Include other players who some people maintain "had their chance and didn't take it" because they got @5 caps in some of the worst coached teams in recent memory.

Maggie Lund was definitely one.

I don't think we gave the Erinle/Hipkiss combination enough of a chance personally.

So, the fat boy is still going strong in middle age. Would BMI label him obese? ;)
