Olly Hartley. Very good player who I believe is still unattached, fingers crossed he heads to Tigers.TheNomad wrote: ↑Mon Oct 24, 2022 6:53 pmWe’re going to have to get creative with some of these players or we’ll end up losing some good talent.FKAS wrote: ↑Mon Oct 24, 2022 8:29 amCan he play 12?Mikey Brown wrote: ↑Mon Oct 24, 2022 8:05 am
He does have a nice balance of the size, pace and gutsy fielding ability of those three though.
Nice to see a good crop of backs coming through though. I’d include the young 12/15 from Wasps too - name escapes me
Yes we do seem to have a glut of good fullbacks we'd have rather killed for a few years ago coming through, well most of the last decade. Steward has the shirt but he's going to have a battle to keep it. He unlike the others can't play wing to a high enough standard even if Eddie has trialled it. Carpenter, Arundell, Hodge and Freeman can all move out to the wing so we could end up with a back three all with full back skills which certainly has its advantages. I suspect it's only a matter of time before an England coach tries to shoehorn Steward in at centre to make space for more of the back three talent unless the stable of young centres starts showing up well (particularly the 12s; Kelly - rubbish hamstring, Dingwall - issues in contact and Ojomoh - not consistent enough to start regularly).

Deleted as I replied to the wrong bit in the thread and don't want to create another mini-meme for the boardTheNomad wrote: ↑Mon Oct 24, 2022 6:53 pmWe’re going to have to get creative with some of these players or we’ll end up losing some good talent.FKAS wrote: ↑Mon Oct 24, 2022 8:29 amCan he play 12?Mikey Brown wrote: ↑Mon Oct 24, 2022 8:05 am
