I was out on a bike ride last week and came across a young autistic man that had wandered off piste and had no juice on his phone to call his mum to pick him up from his swimming club. I had no phone either and went to 5 houses before I found someone willing to easily sort the situation out with a call to his mum. The fifth house occupants were fucking fantastic, but should I expect to be shot on sight at the other four? Fuck you and your stand your ground cartoon community.

Jesus fuck that is appalling. Some idiot who has no doubt been wound up by Tucker Carlson et al to be "in fear of his life" at the sight of an unexpected black person, combined with the fact that guns are so normalised that he had one to hand when answering the door. Just incredible.
