Genge gets 3 weeks, with one knocked off for going on a speeding awareness course tackling course. So out for the rest of Bristol's season, but perfectly available for all of England's warm-up fixtures. Nicely done.

I reckon you could earn a decent living just by placing bets on an England player’s length of ban when the offence occurs just before an international window.

Its a sham. I was critical of the way Farrell got weeks off for being polite and attending tackle school and this is just as bad.

At least the citing commission managed to clear the low bar and have a sensible "lol what?" reaction to the Ref's truly odd view that it wasn't dangerous.
