Any precictions? I'll back the away teams. Landers v Chiefs final. I certainly expect the winner of the first semi to take out the championship this year (Canes or Chiefs). But I don't think the home advantage will be a factor in that match at all. If anything, the Hurricanes seem to perform better on the road than they do in their home stadium(s).

I'm hoping the Hurricanes host, and win, the final. Doing so would give the NZRU a royal flush, with each NZ franchise having won at least one title. Plus I don't want to risk those cow cocky's drawing level with the Blues in the number of titles held.

On the other semifinal, given their recent travels and the quality of the Lions, the Highlanders would do well to still be in the game at half time. But I'm still holding out hope that the Highlanders can troll on for one week more.

HT 15-6 canes. Hurricanes winning the marquee match ups, but very close to conceding a yellow if the Chiefs can put more pressure on in the second half.

It was real basic discipline though, and they were lucky not to see someone in the bin when the Chiefs were banging on the try line.

As it stands, the Chiefs have lost the momentum and Rennie's probably shouting the house down at them right now.
