Re: Statistic of the Day
Next week's Rugby World Cup final will be:
The third all-Southern Hemisphere final
Previous all-Southern finals were in 1995, and 2015.
No all-Southern Hemisphere final has been without the All Blacks.
The second time this match-up has happened.
It's a rematch of the famous 1995 final, where the Springboks prevailed.
Other multi-time final match-ups have been:
New Zealand vs France (1987 and 2011) - two wins to New Zealand
Australia vs England (1991 and 2003) - one win each
South Africa vs England (2007 and 2019) - two wins to South Africa
Since its inception, France have made the final every twelve years (1987, 1999, 2011). This tournament breaks that sequence.
South Africa, since re-admission, have made the final every twelve years (1995, 2007. 2019). This will be the first time they appear in a final as defending champions.

Re: Statistic of the Day
The only member of the New Zealand RWC2023 squad that has dropped a goal in a test match is B Barrett, twice in 2018 and once last year.
