Are you only allowed one boat per class in the rowing?

Apparently there's a 10m range too

Anyway. Medal chance with 2 blokes in boat.

Pretty sure that's the case.

But more importantly GOLD FOR NEW ZEALAND!!

Probably the least unexpected result of the games, Murray and Bond win a second Olympic gold for the men's pair, maintaining their 7 year winning streak at top level regattas.

Fair play to them but that's got to hurt after leading for about 1800m

Andy into 1/4s with a gritty win in 3 sets. Great stuff, esp the mental strength required to come back from a horror show in 2nd set.
It was so much easier to blame Them. It was bleakly depressing to think They were Us. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

Shes one of those athletes who you don't have to know the sport to realize you're watching greatness. So smooth, so precise, such a combination of elegance, power and control. I hate watching gymnastics but even I found her compelling viewing.

Either he has cheated or you have mistranscribed. Must be "Lad epic in a mo..."
I refuse to have a battle of wits with an unarmed person.

Jessica Ennis-Hill and KJT get started today. If all goes well that should be two more medals, one of which could/should be a gold.

Don't count out Brianne Theisen-Eaton. She and her husband could be the 1st wife/husband to hold the heptathlon and Decathlon golds at the same time.

I've only seen the highlights of his first bout but he certainly looks like he has the tools for the job.
