Bristol vs Saracens teams
Bristol:
15. Max Malins, 14. Siva Naulago, 13. Benhard Janse van Rensburg, 12. James Williams, 11. Gabriel Ibitoye, 10. AJ MacGinty, 9. Harry Randall; 1. Ellis Genge, 2. Gabriel Oghre, 3. Kyle Sinckler, 4. James Dun, 5. Joe Batley, 6. Steven Luatua, 7. Fitz Harding (c), 8. Magnus Bradbury
Subs:
16. Harry Thacker, 17. Jake Woolmore, 18. Max Lahiff, 19. Josh Caulfield, 20. Jake Heenan, 21. Kieran Marmion, 22. Virimi Vakatawa, 23. Noah Heward
Saracens Men team to play Bristol Bears:
1 Mako Vunipola, 2 Jamie George, 3 Marco Riccioni, 4 Maro Itoje, 5 Hugh Tizard, 6 Juan Martin Gonzalez, 7 Ben Earl, 8 Tom Willis, 9 Ivan van Zyl
10 Owen Farrell (c), 11 Tom Parton, 12 Nick Tompkins, 13 Lucio Cinti, 14 Rotimi Segun, 15 Elliot Daly
Replacements:
16 Theo Dan, 17 Eroni Mawi, 18 Ollie Hoskins, 19 Nick Isiekwe, 20 Theo McFarland, 21 Billy Vunipola, 22 Aled Davies, 23 Alex Goode
Sarrries are the bookies favourites to edge this one, but they do have it a close game. Sarries will clearly try and keep things tight and grind Bristol down. Bristol will look to move the ball and run Sarries around.
Hopefully a decent game but think the bookies are right on the result.

Game of the weekend for me.
Bris have a very settled look right now and are probably the Prem's form team. Think we could get quite a game.

They were dreadful for at least 60 minutes against Tigers. That form can't be what they bring today. Thacker off the bench is an incredible asset and if the game opens up as he arrives fresh that could turn a lot of games for Bristol.fivepointer wrote: ↑Fri May 10, 2024 3:15 pm Game of the weekend for me.

Which is odd for a country that like a 7-1 bench split as van Rensburg can play pretty much the entire backline. I'm sure he could do a job at 9 in an emergency. Was a goalkicker earlier in his career and LI used him as a jumper in the lineout.

Re: Bristol vs Saracens teams
Saracens just had another gear and Bristol couldn't keep up the pace even with Sarries down two men.

Re: Bristol vs Saracens teams
Bristol just made too errors and they all seemed to lead to points for Sarries.
Don't usually watch Sarries but God their a dull team to watch! Also, they all seem to be constantly moaning at the ref and lines men..
On the ref - did he check the blow to AJs head? In the ground it looked like he'd been hit and the ref didn't check so just played on. Wound the crowd right up as AJ was clearly suffering. Not sure how Itoje dodged red again either...
