Well, TCurry's just come on, so that's probably suggestive.Mikey Brown wrote: ↑Sat Jun 01, 2024 3:45 pm The BBC update thing now says Curtis on the bench and no Tom Curry. Have they mentioned that at all? Was that just an error on the team posted here that I somehow took as being legit?

Cut me some slack, I’ve only only got the useless BBC updates that tell me Ben Curry has just come on at 7 whilst starting at 6.Puja wrote: ↑Sat Jun 01, 2024 4:43 pmWell, TCurry's just come on, so that's probably suggestive.Mikey Brown wrote: ↑Sat Jun 01, 2024 3:45 pm The BBC update thing now says Curtis on the bench and no Tom Curry. He has just utterly melted Josh Bayliss, who had a 5m run-up and got sent back where he came from. Clearly feeling confident in his body.Mikey Brown wrote: ↑Sat Jun 01, 2024 4:46 pmCut me some slack, I’ve only only got the useless BBC updates that tell me Ben Curry has just come on at 7 whilst starting at 6.Puja wrote: ↑Sat Jun 01, 2024 4:43 pmWell, TCurry's just come on, so that's probably suggestive.Mikey Brown wrote: ↑Sat Jun 01, 2024 3:45 pm The BBC update thing now says Curtis on the bench and no Tom Curry. Two high quality semis, and we get the final pretty much everyone bar Sarries and Sale wanted. Should be a cracker next week

Re: "I've got a semi" - Bath v Sale
A great pair of semis, and the right final.
Both play good rugby, both are "the good guys" this year. Saints the better team, rightly top of the league, without an annoying FH (both in himself, and the hype around him).
If I were neutral, I'd probably support Saints.
But I'm not.
The other thing I'd add, is that I don't think Bath are "ready" for a final yet. Obviously, we'll take it, but we're still growing and putting the team together, whilst the likes of Sarries, and possibly Saints feel like they're at the end of a journey with big names retiring (Saints with more young guns coming through)

Just seen on Twitter that apparently Jonny Hill got into a scrap with fans at the end of the game, breaking one's glasses and cutting his eye. Ugly stuff if true.

Doesn't sound great. I'm sure some footage will no doubt emerge. Hopefully it's not as bad as being made out from the initial reports.Which Tyler wrote: ↑Sat Jun 01, 2024 6:29 pmRugby pass mention it, but no details.

This!!!!!
Missed today's game - driving from Dorset to near Inverness for two weeks' holiday in the Highlands.
All my prejudices get free rein. On the back of Farrell and the Vs getting their come-uppance last night, I can enjoy the thought of Russell getting one over Ford.
Whatever, the final promises a treat.

Are the Curry twins competing with each other in a bulk-up contest?

Okay, I'm not going to get worked up about that, though he really should know better than to escalate from words to physical (some words go way beyond the pale though, but that's still the job of the stewards)

Bath good winners i thought. In a losing side Carpenter was excellent.
We've got the final that most would have wanted.

Agree. Hill definitely out of line. Just the way it was first reported made it sound as if he had gone on a rampageWhich Tyler wrote: ↑Sat Jun 01, 2024 11:16 pm Okay, I'm not going to get worked up about that, though he really should know better than to escalate from words to physical (some words go way beyond the pale though, but that's still the job of the stewards)

Quite. Hill was out of order. Even if nastily provoked, there is no excuse for an applied headlock. Mind you, I'm tempted to wonder how Skinner or Grewcock would have reacted in similar circumstances. Let's face it, players are not even allowed to throw pianos down hotel staircases now.p/d wrote: ↑Sun Jun 02, 2024 9:14 amAgree. Hill definitely out of line. I'm generally forgiving of players on the pitch as they have to manage their emotions from being total psychos one minute to normal people the next.
A non playing member of the squad should really be able to control themselves in the stands though, no matter how annoying the braying tarquins that support bath can be. Who knows the exact situation though.
