Yes, meant to come back on here to say something similar. Restores a bit of faith. Huge game next week. Wasn't a perfect performance but really stuck at it and deserved their win. Less comfortable than the scoreline makes it look, but equally might have been a bit more comfortable if Horne had held on for a first half walk in.

Agree on Fagerson. Gets a harsh time. I think partly became some people don't like how he looks when he concedes a penalty.

There's a meet the team kinda thing on Tuesday at Scotstoun if anyone is interested. It's ticketed but if you can't get into the stadium you should still be able to see them outside the stadium first

One other thing - the maul defence was incredible all game. Seemed to be able to drive the bulls back ferociously enough that they couldn't get set again.

So you can pick up the ball while on your knees and place it over the tryline now? Something we should work on. More seriously, though, I think the protecting the 9 thing leads to all sorts of confusion. Seen several times this weekend where a defending player has rucked through but because the attacking player bends down and touches the ball, there is nothing he can do for fear of giving away a penalty. I am also sick of refs spotting attacking players holding defenders and just telling them to let go. Penalise them otherwise there is no disincentive. At least one half break in that final phase came from holding off the ball.

Apart from that whine, Glasgow looked decent but will be kicking themselves for not finishing their chances.

Otherwise, generally impressive
