Threw away a medal v nz imo

Keenan added nothing, bar not catching restarts and costing us the game
๐Ÿ˜† I wouldn't be that hard on him, and I'm not his biggest fan, you were prob right to say Ireland are 2 players short of being the best, but they're still a very very good 7s team
It was so much easier to blame Them. It was bleakly depressing to think They were Us. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

2nd aus try should have been disallowed he's tried to pass and caught the ball on the floor again, that's a penalty

Fine margins

Thoughts on the semis? Surely Fiji will beat Aus. SA v France? France play like they did today I think they'll win it, SA were batting above their average to beat NZ but if they can do that again... ?

Yup, same.
First should be a cracking game, second should be a walk-over

Rightful red, but the try shouldn't stand, due to the huge forwards passing in the build up

The women's comp? This is piss poor coverage. I get they can't show everything, but if you've featured the men's comp, to then abandon the women's comp is not right.

We got 1 match, on a delay.
And that's it for the day.

I get that there's a lot on, and they've only 2 channels, whilst wanting to show a variety of events. I get that the pool stage of the men's had no real competition for air time.

And despite all that, it's a terrible look.

We're getting horse endangerment or tennis instead

And now they're showing the hockey match they already showed - that's the worst of things that grates.

I like the hockey, it was the sport I was actually good at.

But do we need to spend 150 minutes watching the same 75 minutes of sport twice?

ETA: okay, unfair criticism, just a highlights of the hockey (though they did do it yesterday)

Why TF are we leaving their wide woman unmarked, whilst Aus are a player down?

Have we got too many 15s players out there?
Just not really playing 7s, and Aus are crucifying every little mistake.

US women have been the better team here, and then some. Totally deserving winners.

Go Canada. Better on the day, but remains to be seen what they can do in the final.
