Gold 13 on Day 13, should be a lucky omen.
Aldridge in women's kite.👍, mesmerising and demanding event.

Bol v Sydney mcloughlin going to be epic

Sydney has it comfortably on flat speed and best times this year but bol is a super hurdler, technician and competitor, I hope bol wins it

Close contests in the Velo. , Emma F another medal, albeit bronze
(..interesting fact that the golds here have been shared by different nations thus far. )

Running a final when you know you have Covid ?
Embracing co-competitors after the race ?...can't be right, bronze or no.
( meanwhile, sensational OR jav. record by Nadeem ↗️ )

Looks like KJT - who has had a great games to be fair- will have to beat Thiam by a huge margin in the 800m....anyone know what 120 point margin is? Its a bit made that Thiam can get 160+ more points in the javelin, but thems the rules.

I reckon about 8 seconds....

confirmed by beeb. Unlikely, PB's are only 4 seconds apart.

That climbing competition was ridiculous. Hanging their entire weight off three fingers or casually flipping themselves over to hold on by their feet while they rest their arms.

Out the blue - what a stormer.
KJT has a big ask to get G. now, not sure how the PB's match up.
Busy sched. on the track later, good chance of a few medals in the relays.
Burgin looked strong in the 800m.

207 to 211. KJT to NT. Needs 207 to 215.5 say.

Bol looked a bit flat- pundits thought she didn't run her own race but tried to match Syd.

Seems strange that UK has absolutely no representation at all in the canoe/kayak racing?
It was so much easier to blame Them. It was bleakly depressing to think They were Us. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

Suggestion for a new Triathlon.

Boulder to 10m, climb onto the top, which is a diving platform, dive off that, then freestyle 50m

yes...that used to be the case for years, but I thought from about 2012 we had got some contenders...a lot of discontinued events tho

She said she got a lot lactic acid and wasn't able to run her race, running relay Friday night couldn't have helped. On times she couldn't have beaten mcloughlin. Mcloughlin saying she only races in championships because of nerves makes no sense to me. Still love bol as a competitor

I was disappointed to note that.

We did well in the slalom events so it does seem a bit odd we havent put anyone in to the sprints as there are more races now than before.

The lady kite surfer was terrific yesterday, as was our climber today.

different sort of events though, aren't the sprints on a lake?

Shoot out in the women's hockey, awesome. Soooo much better than penalties.

I have genuinely never seen these sports before. Have they always been there?
