Failing to roll away from the tackle a metre out. I presume Racing were on a warning. Did look like was held in a bit but instead of fighting to get out and show the ref he seemed to be fighting the guy holding him in.Banquo wrote: ↑Mon Sep 16, 2024 11:30 amI don't understand that signing outside nepotism. Also some poor execution at times.

Worth noting that the French press are saying high tackle

He was very highly rated at age groups, so it's entirely possible he's training the house down and has earned his place. Can't imagine Lorenzetti or any of his teammates would be giving him a free pass if it was just nepotism.Banquo wrote: ↑Mon Sep 16, 2024 11:30 amI don't understand that signing outside nepotism. A high tackle is far more Farrell. I was only going on a quick watch of the highlights so must have missed that. He definitely gave away an advantage for not rolling away close to the line so I assumed it was that.Which Tyler wrote: ↑Mon Sep 16, 2024 2:20 pmWorth noting that the French press are saying high tackle

I said signing, rather than selection. He's 23, only been a journeyman champ player, yet his dad says...lets sign this guy.Puja wrote: ↑Mon Sep 16, 2024 2:25 pmHe was very highly rated at age groups, so it's entirely possible he's training the house down and has earned his place. Ah, fair enough - misread you. Can't imagine he's on more than three pennies and a button for his contract mind, so probably deemed a worthwhile gamble by the bigwigs.Banquo wrote: ↑Mon Sep 16, 2024 4:42 pmI said signing, rather than selection. I wouldn't be so sure- one of our loanees went from Baaath to a French league 3 side for near on 6 figures. But I spose buttons in the scheme of things. Anyhoo....bit smelly tbhPuja wrote: ↑Mon Sep 16, 2024 4:51 pmAh, fair enough - misread you. To be fair the issue with Lancaster Jnr was that he wasn't particularly dynamic as a flyhalf. If you're going down the Farrell model at 10, does that really matter?
