After last Sunday’s spanking down here in Toulouse, Tigers need to get their act together tomorrow or supporters will begin to have doubts about Cheika’s ability to motivate his players, cos last Sunday, albeit against an outstanding team, there seemed to be precious little, particularly with tackling, as Toulouse ran in twelve tries.

Everyone's got to have a love child; Banquo's got Dingwall, so it's only fair that FKAS has Kata ;)

Dingwall is a family friend, as I've said before, and a m and y club graduate, so know him and game well- have also said a bit biased.

Think his actual dad would take offence somewhat ;)

Key difference being you like young Mr Dingwall, I'd rather we selected either Kelly or Woodward to start over Kata.

No Shillcock is a blow, old man Brown has lost what little pace he had left. Volavola makes a timely return from injury. Should be a tough game, hopefully Tigers pack can edge it out at set piece time

Think he`s a good player, and he is a great fella.

Cheika asked for Chessum and George Martin to be released and Borthwick declined apparently.

Apparently Sanderson requested the same for Ford.

At least Borthwick is consistent with release.

Jeez, this ref isn't consistent. Checks who ref is, ah yeah that makes sense.

Good old Mike Brown, the legs aren't what they were but the mind still works. Seems more up for this one than he was at Twickers Vs Quins bizarrely.

Yikes O'Keefe not doing a good audition for the 6N. Reffell strips the ball, lays it back and then gets pinged for not rolling away. Not sure why the TMO didn't help him out, embarrassing mistake.

The TMO finally makes an appearance. Admittedly for the easiest call of the game, no idea how the officials missed the high tackle initially. Awful technique from Perese.

Mitigation because of the step? Usual SH bullshit on high tackles.

Delighted to see O’Keefe taking 6N games…

MOTM easy.

I never thought I'd enjoy watching that Williams/Asncombe haklfback combo so much, but Gloucester are great to watch when they're going.

Feels like Chessum getting some more time ahead of 6 nations might have been worth the risk? I guess that training time is considered more valuable.

It wasn't a "dominant hit" so yellow.

O'Keefe teaming up with the local sinking turd of TMOs Jackson (who also took the TMO role Vs Quins and who caused the RFU to apologise to Tigers).

The England guys are also in Girona.

Skivington's transition of Glaws this season has been exceptional. Brilliant work from him and the team.

If only JSD were fit to play on this team…

On a serious note, I’m glad that a mauling game plan leaves you close to the bottom of the Prem and an expansive game plan leaves you close to the top.

Tell that to Northampton.

JSD would have broken try scoring records in this Glaws team.

Terrific ding dong. Glos had a storming 3rd quarter and did play some highly attractive rugby throughout the game.

Atkinson again good. His timing of a pass is a joy. Really like the all round work of Clement. Ilione produced an eye catching cameo. Val's 2 passes out the back were outrageous.

Is Atkinson maybe not enough of a threat himself to be an England contender at 12. It felt like Lawrence was there purely to run direct, but swapping Slade to 12 now kind of goes against that?

I don’t know Borthwick simply isn’t open to that style of 12 or if he sees a big flaw in Atkinson’s game. To me he looks pretty handy taking it to the line, whilst clearly not an Aki/Tuilagi he is in a different world to Farrell as a threat to the line.

I’d love to see how he works alongside either Smith. Hopefully in the summer.

100% agree. He’s had an interesting journey at Gloucester. Started well by implementing a strong set piece and maul, dropped off a cliff in season two and then has come back really strongly with an attractive, attacking brand of rugby. Good stuff.
