I think all we saw is that we’re a side that is very big and powerful - which we already knew.

Hopefully McParland isn’t a serious injury. Well set for a slam now with France at home the big one.
12 of the 23 are in their first year and another three played in the JWC as school kids.

Fair. Some ferocious defence from the boys in white was perhaps the best I saw.

Was focusing more on the first 15. Sela, kpoku, sodeke, pollock, James all played at the World Cup. Coen, Hall, Bracken in the backs whilst McParland would have if not injured.

They were down to 13 for a while but that was due to braindead play- not some sort of misfortune that the side gets a pass for.

Anyway, won the game. Let’s smash the French next week.

Yeah; a high tackle from Kpoku and then Tom Burrow with a bit of stupidity in the ruck

Didnt we start last season in a similar vein? I seem to recall us looking the part in the 6N's without ever really taking anyone to the cleaners.
Take the positives. We defended with discipline and desire. Forwards looked good in the scrums and in the maul. A few new players got game time and we have the capacity to play a lot better.

Kpoku has been banned. Could've done with him against France, who were very impressive in their opening match.

At least with Burrow and Sodeke there are some decent alternatives.

Timmins and Friday start, Beckerleg and Hanson added to the bench. Hopefully the minimal changes allow us to find a greater degree of fluency.

Italy Vs Wales has kicked off already if you want to warm up with that. TMO seems to be absent but otherwise it's ok.

Is there a TMO? Didn't look like it in the Wales Italy game when two Welsh players went in at knee height with no attempt to wrap shoulders first.
