It did but there was no chance that was less than 15 seconds of faffing at the back.

Tigers just way to error prone, can't be this sloppy and then expect to get results.

Might as well have ended the game a minute early. Sarries off feet at every ruck and van Zyl allowed an age before the pass.

Tigers blew that in the first half with awful efficiency in the red zone.
Itoje an absolute menace. He's due that rest week.

Big shifts from Itoje and Willis. Great finish by Hall for his try. Dan's throwing a bit of a concern. Tigers fell away in last half an hour, though i did like Ilione's contribution.

Saracens deserved winners. Tigers literally have no attack and then suddenly find some ruck speed and make yards before forgetting how to play again. Utterly piss poor!
Saracens scrum was quality!

The bench is a real issue. Whitcombe, Clare, Cole, Joussain, Youngs they are all a bit one paced. Those four forwards aren't bringing aggression and physicality to make a difference in a game like this.fivepointer wrote: ↑Sun Mar 30, 2025 5:00 pm Big shifts from Itoje and Willis. Injuries to Chessum and Martin haven't helped matters. Had he not picked up a bad knee injury then young Archie van der Flier may well have broken through and helped offer a prop that is more present in the loose.

Sarries could have some backline in a few years with Hall, Elliott plus hopefully Hartley to find a bit of form with Morrow, Bracken and Caluori coming through. Need to find some half backs…

If any club can deal with "average" quality at 9&10, it's Saracens...

Louie Johnson and Charlie Bracken in the current squad. Charlie Heard and Finn Keylock both England U18s. Keylock especially well thought of.Captainhaircut wrote: ↑Sun Mar 30, 2025 5:46 pm Sarries could have some backline in a few years with Hall, Elliott plus hopefully Hartley to find a bit of form with Morrow, Bracken and Caluori coming through. Just seen the Hall try (a splendid finish) and the pass was delivered more or less on the 22 metre line and the winger received it a couple of metres inside the 22, so I'm a bit surprised that the ref didn't think it warranted a closer look.

Dan has managed to drop down the hooker pecking order. Today's performance at the lineout suggests SB has that right. I'd guess he will need to work really hard to avoid others overtaking him.fivepointer wrote: ↑Sun Mar 30, 2025 5:00 pm Big shifts from Itoje and Willis. Great finish by Hall for his try. What about the ‘Earl is such a dick’ post? Comically or annoyingly. So hard to no with the Ben-sterMikey Brown wrote: ↑Sun Mar 30, 2025 6:37 pmDidn’t see the game. It’s funny that you genuinely have no idea if this is something incredible or awful.
