Can the Scarlets do the double?
Here's hoping the Scarlets can beat Ulster both ways this season and get back to the top of the table. Tough one though:
Ulster: S Olding, C Gilroy, D Cave, L Marshall, J Stockdale, P Jackson (capt), P Marshall; A Warwick, J Andrew, R Lutton, A O'Connor, F van der Merwe, R Diack, C Henry, R Wilson.
Replacements: J Murphy, K McCall, B Ross, P Browne, C Ross, R Pienaar, I Humphreys, S Arnold.
Scarlets: M Collins, G Owen, R King, H Parkes (capt), DTH van der Merwe, A Thomas, A Davies, P John, K Myhill, P Edwards, G Earle, D Bulbring, A Shingler, W Boyde, M Allen.
Replacements: R Elias, D Evans, R Jones, M Paulino, R Pitman, R Williams, D Jones, S Evans.

On paper the Ulcer team shades it. Close though. Pienaar on the bench? Could be quite a rubbish game with both teams trying not to lose.
Gerald Davies, what was he doing there?!

Pienaar's coming back from concussion, so hopefully they'll only bring him on for 1 minute at the end. Best to be safe I thinkBillyfish wrote:On paper the Ulcer team shades it. Close though. Pienaar on the bench? Could be quite a rubbish game with both teams trying not to lose.

Easily the best half I've seen in the Pro12 this year. Positive play from both sides.
Scarlets might pay for those missed kicks though.

Good result and an entertaining game
The ball in play time was quite high for this match - suited the Scarlets - especially the kiwi centres who were exceptional. Along with the Scarlets FB who I've not seen before
Great defence throughout the match also

Wish Wales would play more like this. Wish Wales had centres like this too. I guess Parkes would be too old if he stuck around long enough to get Welsh-qualified....

Ref made some odd decisions, in the Scarlies favour at the end thankfully.

Im delighted with that win, both King & Parkes were immense, Parkes is probably our player of the season so far.
Pack fronted up well to, Bullbring looks a very solid acquisition.
