It's like Game of Thrones, you miss an episode and you're fecked

I missed an episode once; but I made up for it by messing myself on the 7x to UCD!

I am bubbling with optimism at the prospect of TOL and Ian springing from the bench on the hour to finish off a Scarlets defence run ragged by, errrr ..... Dunc?

I am trying to think of things that are more fecked than our chances this season.
Not coming up with much.
Pat Hickey's chances of getting the ticketing concession for the next Olympics? The chances of any of us seeing a shred of benefit from the 13 Billion yo-yos we're owed by Apple? The chances of Eugene managing to go a season without boring the trunks off of us with all his R*gby blether? The chances of MelsBlue having the first fecking clue what any of this means?

Here's a thing, 14 of our starting 15 came through our academy - and 6 of the bench. Is anyone else managing that sort of genetic purity?
That's me convinced. Lose, lose or draw, I'm rabid for this team.
G'wan ye bhoys, ye.

Well tickle me arse with a heff a mile of blackthorn hedge!
Can't see any fecker beating us this season. Ye might as well give us the silverware now.

Time to eat my hat. Dave Foley, Dave O'C and Billy Holland had cracking games. Mary Tyler B was grand if fluffing a couple of hooves and Ian steadied the ship and offered tons when he came on. Lots of lads I've posted unkind words about, but wtf would I know. And who's that skinny fecker wearing James Cronin's head? Credit to John Ryan for a 78-minute shift.

Mixed performance
Defensively we were organised and worked well - too many missed tackles though
Line out was bizarre from both sides
Scrum was excellent
From so little ball we were very clinical - a big change from last year when we couldn't convert our chances

I think that the missed tackles were a consequence of the speed in which the defensive line moved up, but Scarlets let us off the hook. A wiser coaching staff would have spotted that there was more to be made in running at us, rather than trying to ship it wide.

Scarlets weren't the force that we'd been warned to expect, that back line to drool over looked what they were, strangers

More importantly, I much prefer a red baron to a sturon, but neither can really compare to a yellow rynsburger.
