Blake not expected back then... any other notable omissions?
I see the new 8 is included.

D'Justice?
And is Vernon properly crocked then?
Yikes, those are big losses and I'd hoped Cunmmings might have a meteoric rise.ARM wrote:I get that they are resting players for next week but hope a number of that injury list make it back for Leicester.
I see that Peterson and Cummings are out for 6 months each.
Whatever Thomson got plus CHH just now. Davidson looks like he could be a cracker, but the same could be said for the other two. Never going to be room for them all.hugh_woatmeigh wrote:I wonder how many minutes Davidson would have got by now if he'd stayed at Glasgow.
Quite right but I still don't think Newcastle was the right move. They're battling relegation every single season without fail. They're not going to play a NEQ kid unless they absolutely have to.hp18 wrote:Whatever Thomson got plus CHH just now. They're similar to us in the fact they have to find rough diamonds and get them to standard. Davidson falls into that category.hugh_woatmeigh wrote:Quite right but I still don't think Newcastle was the right move. They're battling relegation every single season without fail. Whilst Ford has many flaws and we could do with more options, that is a bit of a strange dig at Ford in a weeg thread. That's like me saying the difference between Barrett and Russell, Smith and Laidlaw, or any of Wilson/Strauss/CdP/Ashe/Bradbury and Reid/Kaino is light years. Coles is the best hooker and arguably currently one of the best players on the planet of course he is light years ahead of Ford/Rambo/Brown etc.Matt Ha wrote:From 11-30 it finished 28-33. ps Anybody been watching the All Blacks of late? They are astonishing at the moment and a joy to watch. So much talent, so much skill. Cole the AB's hooker, for example, has been incredible: hooking so the backs get quick ball, sprinting here and there and throwing the most wonderful off loads. The difference between him and Ford is fxxxxx light years.

Has there been any breakdown of what injuries have happened in training and those that happened in games?
Good question. It'seems really strange because he was good in the loose too. It all seemed to go downhill pretty quickly. Hopefully he'll be back but can't be that likelyMikey Brown wrote:Does anyone see Ryan Grant ever being good again?
Was it just a flash in the pan? Injury? The same changes in the law at the scrum that saw Dickinson become a pretty classy operator?
