Harsh yellow against marler. The quins were looking good until then. This will probably cost them the game.

Not sure about that, our pack used to do that on the first couple of line outs of every game, giving it the big... "Whoops I've clean out the lifter."

Was there a sale on yellow cards today?

I've a feeling we will lose this game.

Haha, forward by a mile. How could neither of the officials see that in real time.

Great weight on the kick by Hoyland. Possibly more by accident than design

Really strange lack of direction there. Like when yarde went down the line he never really tried to cut in. Could easily have been turned over.

Great work by Toolis for the turnover. Will watch it all later as of just caught bits and bobs.

Cracking game . Put me in a great mood after the Munster Glasgow game. Mike Brown being penalised with Poites weird explanation was awesome.

What was it for? SHC lucky to not get carded there (judging from the replays shown on TV alone).

No one really knows.

To be fair to Poite, he had a busy afternoon and was probably exhausted by that time. Also, English is clearly not his first language.
He seemed to be doing fine when reviewing the images of the scuffle with the TMO but then went on to summarise it in a weird way. He then asked the TMO to confirm his interpretation. The TMO's silence was gold. He eventually agreed.

Poite then called the capitains to explain who didnt seem have a clue what he was on about. Horwill clearly wanted to contest, but didnt know how.

Brown's shove on SHC was what was penalised in the end bit I think Poite confused who was doing what before that.

I didn't think there was even a penalty in all that tbh. Brown only really pushed SHC off him (in the face tbf). Nothing too much in it imo.

I love the aggression Watson has. Every time he carries he carries as his life depends upon staying on his feet. It's a raw aggression that Scotland has been missing for some time.
Hoyland, who I hope gets some decent game time in the AIs, is like a turbo-charged squash ball.

Aye, It's not brilliant at all. They have no team structure, but it's only the 5t game of the season, it might still build up (although I'm not expecting much). The big players should step up, but who was a "great" in their team? Maclean, Gori, Allan and?

Anyway, got my Bus tickets, I'm off to Timisoara (officially) this weekend. Sofia-Belgrad-Timisoara and back. Will be "fun".
That sounds like an interesting bus trip. We went via train from Salonika-Skopje-Belgrade-Timisoara. Didn't realise there was a war on.
Balkan chain in the North west of Bulgaria-East of Serbia was quite stunning, the rest not so much, but I slept a lot. Timisoara is a beautiful but quiet city.
When did you do that trip? I was surprised to see there were still building with the Nato Bomb marks in Belgrade.
Did the trip back in 1994. Met a nice Norwegian couple from the UN peacekeeping force who took us out for a meal. Belgrade was a bit scary as they wouldn't take any Sterling and would only accept dollars in cash or horrendous exchange rate via credit card. Cost us a lot to get out. We were a bit young and naïve I'll admit.

Just watching the highlights of the game

Kinghorn has god real pace for the 2nd try, we dont often see scottish players stand up players and go round them

In fact the only other one i have seen do it recently is Hogg

He's also very good at stripping the ball of opponents.

McCallum apparently played a club match that ended at 14:30 and then made it to BTMF to sit on the bench on Saturday!
