Why do they suck so much?
If they're good enough to play at World Cups, why not in between?

If they're good enough to play at World Cups, why not in between?

So excluding fixtures between the US & Canada themselves (which the former have dominated in recent years):

Canada winless on the AIs, have lost 11/12 their last fixtures against tier 2 nations (exception being a 2-point win over Georgia 2 years ago), and all of their fixtures to tier 1 teams this decade (often by huge margins), were 0-4 at last year's World Cup and only picked up one win (over Tonga) at the 2011 edition.

USA winless on the AIs, have lost 10/12 their last fixtures against tier 2 nations (exceptions being Japan last year & Romania 2 years ago), and all of their fixtures against tier 1 teams (often by huge margins), were 0-4 at last year's World Cup and only picked up one win (over Russia) at the 2011 edition. Also beaten by Uruguay and Brazil !! at this year's inaugural AMC.
