It's points, then tries, then just a tie*.

* = I'm pretty sure it is, anyway.

Nice wee touch by the FIR's marketing team for their team's presentation.

Unofficial reports suggest 6N will be cut to 6 weeks

while for years i was a fan of 5 week tournament, all this will do is give England and France an advantage and make it almost impossible for italy, Scotland to win and bloody hard for ireland and Wales .

The rest weeks are key to prevent guys getting seriously hurt,

I assume this will mean one "rest" week?

Our non Scottish based guys play on the off weeks already. I am not sure this will be a major change. It might mean in the block of 3 games they take it a bit lighter during what would normally be their heavy days training (the Tue/Wed).

Cutting it to 5 weeks would be bonkers.

There's clearly been some directive to just not bother with forward passes anymore, I guess to catch up with the SH.

I'm not sure a ruck could be big enough to choke Earls, bigger and Sexton.

Ireland for me, the bulk of my family are Irish, it'd be rude not to.

Want to see Wales sort themselves out though.

Think this will be a good game.

If we win tomorrow... big if... an Ireland win does nothing good for us.

BTW... state of the pitch despite the roof being closed lol. Intentional? It looks pretty damn slippery.

How does anyone still let Sexton get away with that wrap-around move?

It's practically Ireland's only move.

If you nominated a man to get in behind that pivot every time I feel like you'd have done half the job.

F*ck me. I'd rather take Hogg as the last line of defence over Kearney now... He's just been bounced off a tackle by North and then Williams no more than 30 seconds apart.

They're incredibly predictable & boring to watch on the attack but it works and they score tries. Job done.

He's superb.

Yeah, that wrap around for Sexton is indeed heavley telegraphed these days, but if you attack from deep enough, there isn't a defence in the world that is quick enough to get near enough to mess with it. As you say, it works.

Why does Kearney look like he's running in treacle? He is that slow?

He's never been lighting, that and that pitch is looking very heavy for some reason.

This is brilliant. Ireland will surely stomp England next week... all we have to do is win tomorrow...

Not sure about that if Murray is buggered. What a player.
