Trump's desire to play golf at every possible chance is at complete odds with his previous criticism of Obama playing golf occasionally when he was in office, as well as his insistence that he would be too busy to play golf if he got elected.

So he's not allowed time off then, being President is a job tha knows, he's entitled to time off like the rest of us.
If the muslims got their own house in order he wouldn't have to ban certain countries, they only have themselves to blame, if Britain had any balls we would do the same.
Obama played golf while an American hostage got the jihad John treatment, still its been double standards from the media since Trump took over.

Of course he's allowed to put his little orange legs up for a rest now and then...the problem arises when he has spent so much energy criticising his predecessor for occasionally doing the same and then has done the same himself every weekend since being sworn-in.Lord Lucan wrote:So he's not allowed time off then, being President is a job tha knows, he's entitled to time off like the rest of us.

Islam isn't the problem. Extremism is the issue and it exists in all religions, belief systems and even in politics. I was already aware of just how extreme some Americans view their politics prior to the latest election, but the last few months has really been an eye-opener in terms of the extreme lengths some people go to support their 'team'. That goes for Democrats, as well as Republicans. It's the same kind of partisan bollocks that brings so much violence to supporting some sports teams.

Islam is the problem, its not really a religion, its more of an ideology, an ideology of conquest. The media is trying to brainwash people with this "Islam is a religion of peace nonsense" this couldn't be further from the truth, the Koran is a hate filled book full of violence, isis, al shabab, boko haram, and all the other nutters are following this book to the letter, it is the so called moderate muslims who either don't know what is in the Koran or just don't want to practice what is in it. I suggest you do more research on the Koran, before claiming Islam isn't the problem, extremism is.

Re: Trump
I'd suggest that the right wing websites you frequent are doing more to brainwash you against Islam. The problem is clearly extremism as the vast majority of Muslims live a peaceful existence and have tolerance to other religions. That said, there are clearly many factions and Islamist groups who have no desire to live like that, but is it really any different from extremism in other religions? Christianity/Judaism/Hinduism all have their fair share of nutjobs that would be more than happy to kill for their God. Even now, western leaders tell the world that God is on their side when they go to war. The Yanks love being told that God is on their side when they're dropping bombs on innocent people.Lord Lucan wrote:Islam is the problem, its not really a religion, its more of an ideology, an ideology of conquest. Just to be clear, I'm not a fan of religion at all. They were all created by man as a way to control people through fear through damnation if they strayed and the promise of some kind of wonderful afterlife if they were good. However, many people live their lives following religion in a moderate manner and good luck to them, but my point, yet again, is they are not affected by extremism. You can't paint a whole group of people with the same brush just because some are knobheads.
This is before we even get into US and western foreign policies which have resulted in Muslim countries being invaded, bombed, had their resources taken and forced into regime change. Hmmm, maybe there's a link there with extremism?

Islam does need to get its house in order. But we don't need to go back too many years when the same could have been said, and said more stridently, of Christianity.morepork wrote:He is so full of shit.
Oh, and as for the "muslims should get their own house in order" comment, there is winding up, and there's offensive. Being able to recognize that line is a good skill to have.
By no means is Christianity in perfect shape now, nor those more secular societies which have developed from christian backgrounds, but we haven't got quite the same problems of patriarchal, misogynistic, anti-science leadership at the heart of the community, we've got a sad step in that direction with the election of Trump but it's only a small step in the big picture.

Is there a chance that Trump spends so much of his time at Mar-a-Lago because he doesn't trust the White House due to possible intelligence services bugs and other surveillance?

So he overcomes that by having meetings in a public restaurant and, apparently, having his staff use unsecured hotel wifi?WaspInWales wrote:Is there a chance that Trump spends so much of his time at Mar-a-Lago because he doesn't trust the White House due to possible intelligence services bugs and other surveillance?
The sheer cost of it looks bad when budgets are being cut at federal agencies. Not to mention the potential for corruption and pocket-lining.

He spends time there so he can fucking showcase the gaudy shithole to the world. His missus lives in NY, he spends at least two days a week in Florida, and there are massive restructuring projects needing urgent attention (the department of Treasury infrastructure as of 12th March: https://www.treasury.gov/about/organiza ... cials.aspx). One has to conclude that the Orange Donkey is not actually the one pulling the strings. He is meeting Merkel next week, which should be interesting. He will probably only be able to do it if he brings his fucking Stepford children with him, because international diplomacy is obviously the right place to bring the family. Except the wife, of course.

Who says they don't recognise that? Homosexuals have been castrated by Western states within living memory, and gay rights are still very much a work in progress. Using this context to try and rank countries in order of preference does both gay rights and any real constructive discussion on immigration a profound disservice.
