Are they experiencing the Chelsea effect?
Thrashed by Liverpool tonight and with just one in 4 and languishing at the wrong end of the table, it's not looking like the best title defence so far.

They haven't got their balance right. Saying that, I think Liverpool's attack will do that to many teams this season. The movement up front between Sturridge, Lallana, Mane and Firmino was incredible. Must be incredibly hard to pick them up, and the midfielders didn't drop deep enough to help the overwhelmed CBs.WaspInWales wrote:Are they experiencing the Chelsea effect?

A Mourinho team would do better, but against most teams, that movement will cause problems.

Looks like its going to be a magical run to the quarter finals of the CL whilst they struggle to make the top half of the league.
