Hughes on the bench is an interesting call. Jones is an excellent young player, though.

Pleased to see Genge get an early involvement. Is Slater's move full time, or just to cover for injuries?

Perfect warm up for the big one later.

Puzzled as to why Veainu is still benched.

Lozowski sure has had a wasted season by the by.

Wonder if EJ is interested in Croft if he can stay fit.

At least he'll get some game time this week, hopefully. I wonder if he's being playing at a champ or ND1 club when he's not been on the bench? I believe there is an ND1 club Wasps promised to cooperate with not a million miles down the road.

in fairness he's been crocked. But he would have been better off elsewhere this season imo.

He was injured a couple of times when he would otherwise have been in the squad. But I think he's been hoisted by his own petard to some extent by announcing early (much earlier than the public announcement) that he would be leaving. Once that was clear, Wasps lost all impetus to include him in squads and develop him - the risk averse option was going with the tried and trusted old pros over Loz's potential.

..as I said, he'd have been better off moving pre-season, rather than announcing mid-season.

Last week Croft looked as though he could still do a useful job for England. Athletic, plenty of speed and a great lineout option. He looks much more effective playing a bit tighter, closer to the breakdown, than swanning about out wide.

Leics pack looks a bit handy, I'll be well chuffed if Wasps win this one.

Are you trying to score brownie points with Banquo for some reason? Try talking about how defending at centre is actually quite difficult and that being able to run/carry and pass shouldn't be mutually exclusive.

You can now 100% guarantee that you will have Ulster in your Champions Cup pool next season.

I refuse to believe that Dai will spend money on Beale rather than empty the bank to buy both Piatau's out of their contracts.

By all accounts Siale wants to come back after his next season in Japan. If he does, that may entice Charles back after his contract with Ulster

Where's the other Piutau off to? I'd never even heard of him until I saw him turn out for Wasps.

Ah. Japan then.

Brilliant game. Wasps are just such a joy to watch.

Great win for Wuss as well. Hopefully Sarries will do the business tonight

Wasps were again quite excellent. So much to enjoy in their play at the moment.

In all the try scoring excitement, the contest that most caught my eye was JC-W v Ayerza, who were having a terrific ding dong.

The scrum contest was indeed fascinating, Mulipola's a very good TH alongside Ayerza. Just goes to show how far Wasps have come as a team when you think back at their scrummaging say four years ago.

Wasps should do whatever its takes to keep at least one Piutau- sacrifice Beale for me! Wasps are great to watch when they have a bit of space

Jones is really good player, who needs a regular club spot.

Think if Youngs was starting and not Thacker Wasps would of struggled a fair bit TBH.

Completely agree. When he was interviewed after there was not a flicker of doubt in his eyes when the move to Ulster was mentioned though sadly. I'm not even sure I'd take Ben Smith or Folau over him the way he's been playing.
