America's Cup
Anyone else watching? The racing has been pretty exciting. Oracle looking like favorites, pretty hard to pick the best of the challengers at this stage.

Hopefully we don't choke again. When I say "we", I mean the mercenary rich white boys that are on the boat at the time.

You from Nippon, MP..?. I didn't know that.
Sir Ben having a nightmare with coming about. Looks like something technical with the dagger boards.

Yeah, it's been good. I have to concede that the boats and the format make for good viewing. Pretty good how close the course is to the shore as well.

I haven't watched before but I'm now pretty addicted. Armetis v NZ was fantastic, even down to the incorrect penalty call. It seems the Kiwis are getting the rub of the green with pens even before the Lions landed. Good to see GB get their second win after a run of comprehensive defeats.

Yeah, and every now and then a land rover can climb a steep hill without overheating.

I'll stick with overheating. Why else would you submerge yourself!

Yep, very important. We'll have to improve a lot, though. We need to find some speed when the wind is low and stop making at least one huge error per race. If we didn't have Ainsley I think we'd be down with France and Swede. He invariable wins the start and his last move against France today got us the win. I say this knowing nothing about sailing.Eugene Wrayburn wrote:Important battle though. Need to beat someone to make it to the semi.Mellsblue wrote:GB beat France in the battle of the cripples.

Disappointed this is on BT. I haven't seen any of the racing.

Boom.
Do sailors say that? Maybe just an awkward high five.

Yep, good day for TNZ today. Artemis looking like the biggest threat to making the final, but much could change in a short time in this game as we learnt in San Fran. Tomorrows race with the US is shaping up nicely.

If the land rover is overheating, we appear to have left the choke on....

It's a bit rude for your boys to declare us most shit.

I reckon we've shat the bed. Spithill is owning us. We may even fluff racing a pimped out series II Landy.

Agreed. Shows a lack of class if you ask me. However, we beat the French. Anything else is a bonus.Eugene Wrayburn wrote:It's a bit rude for your boys to declare us most shit.
