That looked exhausting! Gonna have to step it up to beat the Boks or the All Blex.

Was just about to say that Mercer has gone missing during the last defensive set. Then he pops up with that turnover.

Only caught the last ten, where we comfortably second best. Although given who's missing topping the group is some achievement, and is further proof that the production line is working.i

Is there a reason we looked so physically shattered (other than the aussies running us off our feet in the first half). I thought I heard the commentator talking about it but the facebook stream was so terrible I missed all of it. Injuries meaning people have been over played?

I missed a chunk of the start of the second half when we came back as well but honestly thought the aussies looked the better team (for people that saw it all am I wrong)?

Only caught snatches so cannot comment on the performance that that is one helluva gutsy win. Given who was missing before the tournament started and the injuries since, its a great effort to top the pool.

Match should be available on Youtube in a day or two.

Oh absolutely. I think I saw a turnover stat of 12 - 3 in favour of the aussies. With the curry lads on the flanks like we had in the 6N I'm sure that would have been different.

Mind, that is the same Ireland team that's lost to all comers this JWC, so I don't know how challenging they were. Very good performance though.

We've got enough to get past SA, but I think we'll get murdered in the final. Still, without Isiekwe, Curry, Curry, Maunder, and Cokanasiga, that'd be a pretty successful tournament, especially after losing Crossdale, Morris and Aspland-Robinson early on.

The SA backs look pretty electric - the left winger Papier looks particularly dangerous.

I could see us losing this year.

Going to be a very hard game, but hopefully we'll have a full squad to choose from. What we do know is that this group have great self belief and resilience. They will need all of it, I suspect.

Oh, and Ibitoye's try was sensationally good.

Curry and Maunder showed just how much better this side could be.

They definitely will, we just need to bear in mind that this year group isn't best represented by the side that's at the tournament.
