RIP Seru Rabeni. played 63 games for Leicester from 2004-2009. Far too bloody young.

Gutted. He was an entertainer. Fiji and Rabeni made the 07 world cup, for me.

Blimey, that is no age. Still, what a 37 years. Who on this forum wouldn't have wanted to be paid to travel the world playing rugby. Thoughts go out to his friends and family, especially his children. I hope they rugby family look after them. There has been too much tragic news in rugby recently.

I remember him playing for Leeds against the Falcons in some of the worst conditions I've seen. Most of the second half was played in a hailstorm, with the typical north east wind swirling round the stadium.

He was literately the only thing worth watching about the match. Even at that stage of his career and in those conditions his strength and skill stood out.
