With his win rate plummeting to only barely above 90%, Steve Hansen's tenure looks pretty shaky.
His shameful record includes a first ever loss in 110 years to the Irish, first loss in the USA, first defeat to the Lions in 24 years, failing to extend NZ's home winning streak of 47 tests over about 8 years, and a humiliating reversal against England as long ago as 2012, not to mention losses to the traditional foes Australia and South Africa.
Frankly, after his part in the unmentionable events of 2007, it was clearly a mistake to overpromote him to the top job in the first place.
This lack of perfection cannot continue and I for one demand change.

Not a huge fan of all this Hansenball bollocks.
Gatland is a far better fit for the traditional expansive NZ game.

Indeed. And if you're going to have a game plan dependent on kicking goals, at least select a decent goal kicker at 10 instead of some show pony.

I blame it on ISIS, personally. Allahu akbar !!
If they're good enough to play at World Cups, why not in between?

He's clearly just using this current gig as a stepping stone to the ultimate job in rugby, staking his credentials to coach Wales.
Again.
Again.

Re: Hansen must go
You forgot to mention he has lost more games in the last 12 months than England. This must also damage any bit of credibility he has left.

You Kiwis have probably the worst coach in international rugby.

Given that Howley can't possibly be a considered a coach, I'm inclined to agree with you.Rich wrote:I agree with youLizard wrote:With his win rate plummeting to only barely above 90%, Steve Hansen's tenure looks pretty shaky.
